Anyone got any requests for Apple Watch Straps and Models, e.g. Silver Sport with Milianeese loop? Post them here!

I was thinking a Stainless Steel with a Blue Sport band might look good

Mine

This is what I want. I am shocked I can't get the Steel Space Grey with anything but the black steel link. I wish you purchased the watch then the band separate...

Interesting that my Apple Business Account Rep said Apple doesn't believe unmatched metals work. I love my Apple products but they can't ever seem to surrender to the freedom of the purchaser. They have gotten better but oh so far to go for freedom. If I want a watch that doesn't match let me buy it since its mine... Rant over

In real life, the metal is a bit darker I think. I agree though, we should be able to choose, however I don't think there should be an option to get it WITHOUT a strap.

I'm fascinated by this. Out of the gate Apple is offering more choice with Watch than they've ever done before. And yet people still complain. I can understand wishing Apple offered say, a space black milanese loop or leather band with space black metal connector. And maybe things like that will get added over time. But it shouldn't be surprising to anyone that Apple is not going to sell a model with mishmashed metals or color choices they don't think go together (e.g. rose gold watch with green Sport band). Of course because the bands are easily interchangeable and Apple is selling bands on their own they can't prevent those kind of combinations from ever happening but they're not going be showing them off under a table in store or on their website. I have a feeling some of these combinations that might look OK in these online mix and match tools are going to look worse IRL.

The main complaint about the black stainless model is you can only order it with the expensive bracelet. It means you will be paying a lot extra for the black case if you are just going to remove the bracelet so you can wear it with your preferred band. It's a pity it's not also available with band with the black pin as used on the Sport Watch.

Maybe we'll see additional bands for it later this year. Especially if sales are soft because people want a cheaper option.

I really hate that the classic blue buckle is only available for the 38mm. I would consider buying the 42mm SS if that was an option.

Trust me, if galvanic corrosion occurs as a result of pairing aluminum and stainless steel you won't hesitate to blame Apple in the name of freedom.
