Apple watch Complication Not Showing as option in Face setup list

Hello.
I tried using my iPhone and my Apple Watch (4) to uodate my watch's face, but to no avail. More specifically, my issue is with Yahoo Weather and The Weather Channel (although I've had similar issue with a few other apps); all of which are in my Complication list, but they don't show up as an option in the Face setup. Thoughts?

Which watch face/complication are you using?
 
I tried 4 different faces; in different areas of the faces (Infograph Modular, Infograph, Photos and Meridian). Both Dark Sky and Carrot weather worked fine with those, but the Weather Channel, Yahoo! Weather and a few other apps didn't.
I've read somewhere that trying directly from the watch (instead of phone app) might solve this issue but it didn't.

App authors have to write support for each different type of complication. Looks like they haven't updated those apps to support the new complication types available in watchOS 6-specific faces.
If I were you, I'd leave feedback with the authors of those particular apps. Apple has obviously made it possible for other apps to support new features, so those apps' authors need to do the same.
