Absent data from Apple, there is nothing that can be gleaned from this. Even if was selling horribly and they had excess supply, they wouldn't flood the market with inventory. More likely this is a controlled rollout; designed to keep the watch in the media over time. Whether it's selling well or not, Apple probably has a set schedule to launch the watch.
And who has ever done that with a failing product? I'm not saying it's going to surpass the iPhone (it isn't), but it's definitely doing better than some would have us believe. A failing product has only one schedule, and that's to get the inventory though the channels as quickly as possible and cut your losses, a la the Zune, the Rokr, etc.

I live in Denmark, and I already bought 2 Apple Watch months ago in a local store. One thing is the official launch. The other thing are stores who have it anyway :)

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine. For me, it is a matter of convenience, and using Apple Pay is just the cherry on top of the ice cream!

(At least no one complained about the Sehr gut! part:D !

yeah, it's pretty great. i'm feel like i'm missing something, when i'm not wearing it. quick glances at notifications, dictating messages, remote controlling my phillips hue, workouts...
i've had my phone on mute since i got the watch...

i'm not 100% sure if it's worth € 450 for what it does (that's about $507 for the 42mm sports) - but watchOS 2.0 will make it even better. i'm also not too happy about the ion-x glass, which scratches quite easily, but all in all it's a great 1st gen product.

only maps sucks, as it almost never understands the addresses i'm asking from it. but that's the same on the iphone... :-(

no apple pay in austria for the foreseeable future, though. but we got nfc on our debit cards, so at least you don't have to open your purse for paying.

5 months later and other countries are still in the dark with the Apple Watch? Good Lord, and here I hought the U.S was always second in line for all the good stuff.

Any longer and it'd be pretty much obsolete....

Well, as the Finnish launch is still not even announced (apart from that vague 2015 promise), it's quite sure that whenever it hits, I'm not going to shell out that kind of money for a 1st gen product that's about to be replaced soon anyway. I hope they'll make the 2nd gen version available much faster.

It's been 4 month, and actually less than that since very few people actually got their watches on the first day.

It is possible that some countries won'T get the first gen watches and skip right to generation two in April or may.

Please explain why as I cannot find a reason as to why Apple cannot release the Apple Watch worldwide 1st time like they do with the iPhones.
Nope, the iPhone is not released once worldwide. Though the process is more efficient, but the iPhone too lunches at different times in different countries, some of the counties get it two - three months later.
