But what does he know? He's a watch guy, not a stylish tech guy like Nilay Patel who feels ridiculous wearing the Milanese Loop band.

He uses the Gmail app, not the official Apple Mail app. With the official Apple Mail App, you can read the email, and I believe reply.

I also think Ariel bought the watch from the one store in LA that is currently selling it, not by pre-order. This is why he has a link band watch.

Don't think you can reply or create new emails directly from the watch.

Oooooh! I was confused because he said he would like Apple to do something about that.... seems more like a developer issue. I know most apps allow some form of voice dictation.

Maybe it's something apple themselves limited. I don't know. I have to wait until June for my watch. I use the email app and forward all my google email to my apple email.
