It seems most of our pre-orders have been delay due to a defect in the taptic engine made by China manufacturer AAC Technologies Holding.

I'm a bit disappointed but at the same time am willing to wait until they sort this out.

Couldn't this maybe have been posted in the thread dedicated specifically to the topic of the Taptic Engine defect rather than creating a new one?

Seriously debating canceling my preorder. This launch has been atrocious. The lack of communication is abysmal.

Delay?? I'm pretty sure everyone will get their watches within the windows provided before you ordered the watch.. there hasn't been any delays.

You're surprisingly calm and rational about it after seeing the thread title.

The delay is the availability on release date. I think only about 20-30% of people who pre-ordered received the watch.

I mean I understand delay for the iPhone 6 plus when there were millions of pre-orders.

I'm just disappointed that I stayed up and preordered mine at 12:10 am and not getting mine until May 13-27.

I can't stand when people say this.
Who gives a ******* about the arbitrary shipping dates provided at the time of order.

The April launch in general constitutes a delay. At least as far as I'm concerned April Is not "early 2015" ...and May/June/July sure aren't either.

Please cancel. A friend of mine just ordered and if you cancel he can move up a spot. And if you cancel, no more moaning and groaning from you, yippee!

It's all a conspiracy to make you lose your mind. I think it's working.
