Erm, that’s a bit of a leap! Also a strange bit of obvious opinion in what otherwise came across as a mostly factual article.
I just read an article about a hospital in my country (Norway) that got all the SpO2 meters they could find and used for early screenings of patients during this covid-19 crisis. They had really good results and very few really sick people because of early indications of the sickness.
I agree....02 feature on watch would be great to have in today's corona virus era. A lot of these features become seemingly indispensable after you've used them for a while and found out how much they get incorporated in your life. Personally, The ability to find my iPhone by pinging it with the watch, when I left it upstairs or in the car, is almost alone enough of a reason for me to own that the watch, even if this was all that it did.

Yeah, I went from a 0 to a 4 and it was night and day. The 0 was useless for anything but built in apps. The 4 is always instantly responsive, the battery lasts much longer, and it tracks activity much much more consistently.

It’s that last point that may end up mattering there most to me. It seems to be undercounting by a lot whenever workout mode isn’t on (and I can’t just leave it ob too much because… battery). Objectively speaking, that shouldn’t matter (at the end of the day, resulting average weight is more important than daily fluctuations in calories), but I’m kind of curious about more accurate data.

And yet I keep waffling between 3 (just $200!), 5 (more than twice as much), or neither. I’ll probably ride it out until fall, yet again, I guess.

I do wonder how much more I’d use, say, Home if performance weren’t so prohibitive.

The four reports about twice as much activity as the 0 did in an average day (without triggering workouts).

This was really stood out for me

“The butterflies in the Apple Watch Motion face were dead when they were captured in images to prevent harming live butterflies. Chaudhri owns the blue one.”

Did they die of natural causes?
