Apple Watch doesn‘t receive E-Mails when iPhone is turned off

Hello together,
I currently have the problem that my Apple Watch won‘t receive any E-Mail when my iPhone is turned off! It is an Apple Watch with Cellular but I‘m on Wifi anyway! If I try to refresh the E-Mails I get a message that it is not possible to load E-Mails because there is no connection! Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

Maybe stupid questin, but did you activate cellular on watch?

I have the same issue, it only works with the iCloud account but not with any other email account

Thank you for all your replies! So actually it works now! I just relinked the Apple Watch with my iPhone! But it seems that the Apple Watch can't receive E-Mails from all providers, only from Apple's own adresses like me.com I think!
