Is this affecting the heart rate readings at all? If Not, I would say it’s rather meaningless to be concerned about.

If the build up of dead skin cells, sweat etc doesn't affect the sensor, I feel a speck of dust won't either.

Could be a imperfection depending on your model. Is it a model with the composite back?
