The back of my Apple Watch gen 1 came off as I took it off the charger. I pushed it back on but it happened again. Obviously it's out of warranty. I heard Apple has extended the warranty because it's a known issue. Does anyone know who I contact at Apple about this?
Also, I don't have the receipt because it was given to me as a gift. Is this a problem?

This happened to my gen 1 a few months shy of 2 years. I made an appointment at the Genius Bar and the apple associate asked me if I had gotten it wet or pried off the back! Ultimately he sent it in for “repair” and I was sent a new generation 1 as replacement.

You should be covered entirely due to a defect with the adhesive and other conditions.
