I do a lot of cycling so I have been using Apple watch to track mileage, calories, bpm, etc. It does it well on the Apple Watch. All info gets synced with Health app on my iPhone. Here is the thing, on Health Dashboard, it only shows Average miles so far and yesterdays mileage. Is it possible to show total miles for the year/month/week? Same for calories burned. I think it sucks that it doesn't track totals.

I use strava as it has all those items you are looking for... miles, calories ect. it will link to the health app and show you miles ect. easy to use and works with the watch.

The good news is that Health tracks everything and stores all of the information. The bad news is that they don't surface the information that we all want to see. I think a lot of people are hoping the Health and/or Activity app will eventually expand enough to become a better replacement to things like Strava, MapMyRun and the others like it.

if I recall correctly, there's an app in the App Store for better viewing of historical Health information (like steps, calories burned, etc.) but I'm not sure how much of the workout information it shows.

Yea I do use Strava too. But I don't have it syncing with Health App. I thought I would use watch exercise app. I think they need to look into making Health App better.

Go to the Activity app, select the day you did your cycling, scroll down to the workouts section (only appear on days you have a saved workout), click on it will show you your active calories, total time, total distance, avg speed and avg heart rate.

But i personally also log my cycling with Runkeeper :)
