Not getting these anymore but I could’ve sworn this was a thing in the last few iOS’. All I get now is the camera name that the notification came from. I still get them on my watch for the manufacturer’s app (Logitech) but not for the Home app notifications. I also remember having the ability to toggle a HomeKit accessory, like a light, within the Watch rich notification and was the reason I preferred them. Anyone have more info on this? Are you still getting them? Did you lose them too? A bug? Thanks.

Running all the latest software and firmware on an iPhone 12 Pro and AW S6.

I noticed the same thing and just haven't said anything or asked about it. It seems like a more refined notification more than anything else. For me it hasn't been worse or better just different. Everything still seems to work great but I have noticed it. In the back of my mind I guess I was hoping the HomeKit device manufactures would also update their apps and possible address the notification changes or differences?

Thanks for the reply. For me, the notifications have been the exact opposite of refined. They’ve been substantially worsened. Used to get a snapshot of the camera activity on the watch. Great for a quick glance and not having to pull out my phone for every camera notification. All I get now is text stating that the sensor detected motion.

I've never quit understood what causes those differences, occasionally I get a text (like you) most often I get a picture to look at but then occasionally I get a short video clip to watch. I wish I knew what causes those different types of notices. I just don't know enough about the topic and haven't taken to the time to research it.

I do appreciate your time though. It’s annoying the crap out of me. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it might have something to do with the connected Hub. Thanks.

same for me, I used to get a screen shot of the video action which you could click on, but now it just shows text only.
What camera(s) are you using? Curious if it’s a HomeKit or camera issue. I’m using the Logitech Circle 2’s. Thanks.
