Apple Watch in UK at Currys (maybe?)

In the first few days of the iPad coming out in the UK I chased around various Apple Stores in London trying to get my hands on one, but with no success.
I dropped into Currys on Oxford Street on the off chance that they were stocking them and... Bingo! I snagged myself one there while Apple themselves were out of stock (or at least across the whole range) for a good while after. I asked the sales assistant if many people had been aware that Currys were selling them, and he said now.
Anyhow, I'm waiting for my Apple Watch that I ordered when it became available online and I'm told it will be delivered in June. Part of me wonders whether I shouldn't have bothered and should just go into Currys early next week and see if there's a repeat of the iPad with the iWatch.

TLDR: It may be worthwhile checking out Currys next week for whether they are selling Apple Watches, if you're in the market for one.

No chance in Currys anytime soon.

They won't start letting other shops tell them until they can easily meet the current heavy demand. Apple Stores aren't having them in stock until June, at the earliest. Currys, etc will be months after that. I bet no earlier than October, if I had to guess.

I highly doubt it for a long time.

Unlike the iPad, the Apple Watch has 38 different combinations so it's very unlikely that there will be sufficient stock to warrant a fanfare from the retailers until there is a steady, consistent stream of inventory available.

I work at Currys myself and there's no apple watch on the book of orders for the near future anyway. If they were selling them I would've got mine from there...staff discount #

But yeah, theres nothing in the books on them,

It was announced though that Carphone Warehouse (part of Dixons Carphone ) won't be selling the Apple Watch at all.
