I have 2 cards on my watch, i double click to pay, i dont want to use my default card for payment, but my default card always get selected instead on buses instead of the 2nd card, is this a bug or what ?

turn on express transit for the one you want to use?

then you won't need to double click, just scan, has the added advantage that if your phone or watch shuts down due to low battery (the device has to power itself down, you can't turn it off) you can still use Apple Pay for transit for several hours.

After I selected my card as express transit, I put my watch near a supported transit reader, I hear it click as recognizing it, but then the card pops up on the watch and I still have to double click it to complete the transaction. Anybody know why that is?

edit: Never mind found the issue. It was stupid me. Going back to bed now.🤪

If you don't mind me asking, what were you doing wrong/not doing?

I still struggle to get this working on the bus… London Tube it works perfectly, but on the local busses here it also asks me to confirm on the iPhone.

Sorry…
Issue found that I wasn’t using it for transit. I was using it for the grocery store. And you still have to double click after you show the face of your watch to the receiver. I know it doesn’t help you but now I know why it didn’t work.
