I'm not reading that as a limit on the number of watches - just the number of reservations you can make. They're trying to limit scalpers and people mass-booking appointments to sell off like people selling places in line.

All a reservation does is get you 15 minutes in the store to discuss the models/bands and try them on. You then go and place an online order. I have yet to hear anything about limiting the number of watches per purchase or purchaser.

From reading the rest of it as well as the highlighted portion it definitely refers to :apple:Watch reservations being limited to two per customer.

Right, this is how I'm interpreting it as well.

Ok, you were right that the reservations are to purchase the watch but I'm still missing where it says that you can only get one watch per reservation. It even says "item(s)."

Maybe I'm just blind here, I do miss things sometimes.

This is so weird and getting even weirder and more confusing...

Government ID can't be blank.
The government ID number you have entered is not valid for the ID type selected.

Do you really believe that you will have to provide your ID number or (as suggested by the first quote) a ID scan??

Sorry, there are no iPhones available at this store. Please try another store or check back later.

This whole thing is really bizarre - at the bottom of the code there is something about iPhones

EDIT: As I suspected, it's just a test of the iReserve system, so I guess they are still working things out.

So Thursday night can I pre-order a Black SS and a Silver SS on the Apple Store App to ship to my home and then make a reservation for the 10th to try on the watch and cancel one of the SS I pre-ordered? I would imagine I would have to make 2 separate pre-orders in order to cancel the one I don't want.

Seems like they've changed the site. Now it's 1 per customer.

One more strange thing:

Apple Watch reservations are available from 8:00 am on 25 April. Please come back then to make a reservation for same-day pickup.
