Apple Watch name on iPhone battery widget?

Does anyone use the iPhone battery widget to monitor their Apple Watch battery level?

What name does display for you watch?

Mine says “Apple Watch” even though I specified a name for the watch in the app. What’s weird is it shows the name I have chosen for my phone and also the name I have chosen for my AirPods, but still just lists my watch as “Apple Watch”

Mine shows the name of my watch. But I recently renamed my watch and it shows the old name, not the new one.

Not immediately. I’ll leave it with the new name and see if that takes effect overnight.

I have the same problem. My watch shows a previous name and won’t change to the new name in the battery widget.
