RunGap claims to be able to do it, but it looks like importing to Garmin Connect requires an additional in-app purchase, and from their support documents it looks like the functionality has a history of being spotty.

Garmin has a bad history of not playing well with others. You can export Garmin workouts to almost anywhere, but they don't want you importing things from other devices into their apps.
Thanks - yes, been speaking with RunGap support - appears my step data is indeed being imported as I can see on Garmin Connect. However for some reason the data is not being sent to my health insurance - at least not being recognized. Something off and now too difficult to troubleshoot, guess will lose that benefit.

Separate questions:

- Low heart rate alerts: why is the lowest 40bpm or off? my sleeping bpm lower range is 37-39. I would prefer to only get an alert at 36bpm, for example. Right now I get an alert every night!

- Time to stand - I use a standing desk all day and stand, never sit, while working. Oddly I get a "time to stand" notification a few times a day..!
