My Apple Watch stopped being able to open my iMac (I have to always type in my iMac password). I think it started with the last update. Is anyone else having this problem or any good ideas on what to try to get this to work. I’m wondering if this is a known problem with the latest update.

I’ve made sure that my iPhone, Watch an iMac all have the most recent update and all have been restarted. I’ve tried turning off the function and turning it back on. Note that when I click my mouse to open my sleeping iMac, it actually says “opening with Apple Watch”, but it doesn’t. I get no feedback or indication on my watch that it’s trying to open my iMac. I’ve tried other things to ensure that all items are on the same WiFi network and that Bluetooth is on. I also signed out of my iCloud account and signed back in. I’m at a loss as to what else I can/should do. Any help is appreciated.
