On my Apple Watch (series 9 running 26.5) when I first pull down notification centre, scroll to the top and tap 'clear all', nothing happens. The button does not work or respond. I have to swipe notification centre closed, then re-open it, at which point the 'clear all' button works.

Has anyone else seen this?
Yup I’ve had the same issue for a few months now. I think it must have been one of the recent updates that introduced this bug. The workaround that you suggest is the only way to get around it.

Same thing on my SE2, it's been happening for the past few months.
Flicking my wrist and trying again makes it work. Reported it a while back, but nothing happened.
Considering my SE2 is not gonna get WatchOS27, I think I'll be stuck with the bug...

It’s a really annoying bug that has been there since 26 was released. It’s been fixed in 27 since B1. Since I’ve been on B1, B2 and, so far, B3 that bug hasn’t come back yet.

It’s such an obvious bug that’s been there for almost a year; can’t see them fixing it in 26 now.
