Apple Watch Notification Problems...

I cannot get the Watch give me notifications. The emails are there. The text messages are there. But the watch never notify's me of them. Anyone else having this problem?

Are you using your phone? The Watch won't display notifications if you're using the phone to avoid annoyance.
