I’m 6ft guy and I got a 38mm Watch and have been really happy with it.

I’m really glad I didn’t get the 42 mm as I would’ve found it too bulky.

Also I’ve seen women who are ~5-5.5 feet with the 42mm watch and it liked pretty big on their wrists.

I think we’re all getting hung up on big watch (and phone sizes).

Three points:

  • The classic men’s Rolex submariner watches that Connery wore in the early Bond films were 36mm.
  • in the world of luxury watches, big watches are starting to get a little passé with 38-39mm being the sweet spot for men
  • You don’t use the watch like you do the phone (or at least I don’t), so you don’t necessarily need a big screen to tap on.
Try one on and whatever feels right for you, go for it.

If there's an Apple Store nearby they have demo units you can try out. Ask an employee of they have any of the small sport bands you can attach and try out on one of the 38mm models.

I think it is Yahoo Weather

Its not Yahoo Weather as just tried it and the Complication on the watch for Yahoo Weather only shows the temperature and not the temperature and weather conditions, like yours does?!

Can you please check to see which app that is, which you have on the watch?

Hi Dino - I double checked and it has to be Yahoo. That is the only other weather app/complication I have installed on my phone besides the stock one.

I think the absolute smallest Apple watch band in existence is the Modern Buckle in the small size. It’s basically designed for rich kids. The nice thing about this band is that you don’t have a ton of unused strap looping back around your wrist like with a classic buckle style band.

I know there are many post on Apple watch fits, for people with skinny wrist, but they are not helping me find what I am looking for.
So if you have a very skinny wrist, can you upload a picture of your apple watch ON your wrist AND and the SIZE of your wrist.
I have a very skinny wrist, and I want to know how it looks on others. I actually haven't measured my wrist yet (still looking for my measuring tape). But for facts I know it is smaller than 140mm.

My wrist is 140mm. I am wearing Series 4, Case Size 40mm. It fits very comfortably with the sport loop band. As long as the watch is not wider than the top of your wrist, the fit is fine. Just buy it, if you don't like the look/fit then return it, simple.

If you're a skinny guy like me, get the 42mm

I have 140mm and I went with the 44mm. The 40mm just seemed too small for me.

I thought I had the skinniest wrist at 5 7/8" but this thread is giving me solace.
Thanks guys.

BTW I used to have a 42mm S2 and while it was on the bigger side it never felt huge per se. Now my 40mm S5 is just the perfect sweet spot for me.

My wrist is 135mm and I love the 44mm watch. The only difficulty is that the Milanese loops are a bit too loose for me.

I wanted to keep my Milanese, but just couldn’t see how my 140mm wrists would sit on apples stated 150-220 for the ML. How loose is it with the magnetic clasp pretty much at the top of the watch ?

Just a tiny bit too loose for my taste. It could be fine for you. I still wear it sometimes, but only for going out etc.
