So I have the above but it won't let me factory restore, it isn't paired with an iPhone as I sold it but wiped the phone before I sold it. I also unpaired the watch but the watch won't let me restore. I get to the erase all setting part and it asks for my pin then accepts the pin and then goes back to the question asking erase all settings. Apple support say i need to send it away for repair but I could get a newer one for the price it would be. Tried to enter DFU but its not happening. Think it's just time for the bin but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas, thanks. Have attached pics.

Do the following: Connect your Apple Watch to its magnetic charger and then enter the turn off screen. Rather than sliding to power off, you’re going to Force Touch in order to force an erase of all content and settings. If that still does not do the trick, then your watch is permanently paired to its original phone and there is no fix unless you send it away with apple.
