Apple Watch Photo Face seems to only show old photos?

I sometimes use the Photo Face. I have it set to Dynamic; "This displays photos from your recent Memories and updates when you have new ones"

I have only seen old photos, nothing from the past 2-3 years.

**EDIT**. I went into Photos -> For You and started clicking on Memories. I can scroll down on a memory and it says related and there are more that don't show up on the main list of memories. Anyhow I clicked the 3 dot blue circle and selected add to memories... we will see if they start showing up.

Not sure why it isn't automatically showing me Memories...
