I am surprise by the price of the Apple Watch in USA vs Canada!? The 42mm Milanese is 699US$ and the same model is 919CAD$. With today's rate, 699US = 841.60 Canadian dollars. I don't understand the up-charge of more than 75.00 CAD$ for the same watch for canadian buyer ? :(

Kinda sucks doesn't it? Shipping is a bit more expensive for Apple but not that much difference.

We're paying a 30% premium, on average. If you look at xe.com at the moment, it should be a 21% premium.

A shame considering it doesn't seem that long ago we were at par.

All of the prices went up awhile ago on the Apple Canada online store.

People need to just not buy apple products in Canada to show them we don't agree with this approach. The price is much cheaper after exchange in the USA especially since tax is lower.

If you could get these from apple store, I would get it there. The thing is even when the dollar was par apple still charged more in CND, but it was usually only 20 bucks.

I am not getting a regular apple watch for this exact reason, but will probably get the sport. Next time around for v2 if I generally love my sport, I will get the v2 regular watch from the USA.

That was what I was thinking too.

For most Apple product the prices are similar when converted. No Tax. No shipment cost: the basic item comparison.
BTW, the 12inch Macbook 256Gb - Space grey is 1299US$ and 1549CAD$ at the apple store Canada. Today, 1299US= 1564 CAD$
The Apple Watch pricing is quite different in my mind!
