You're so right, a beautiful combo I hope they carry over to second gen models. I sent my first one back, it wasn't bad, just lacking too many features to capture my interest and help increase speed. Some of its just a lack of commitment of the staff

There is no logic or reasoning in that. Apple has sold (Product) Red accessories at the launch of hardware before so there is no reason they couldn't have done it with the Watch as well.

As for me personally I would love a (Product) Red Sport Band. I like the leather loop and in fact have the blue one but I'm not so sure about a red one. That said I would probably take that if it was the only choice.

Yep. They haven't released the red bands yet, so there's every likelihood that they'll support a good cause. It's part of their culture. High probability this will happen I think.

Anybody else want this? I photoshopped and designed this during lunch today because I secretly wish I could work for Apple, haha. It's the space black stainless steel 42mm case with a minimal face and red accents that I lifted off another photo on their site combined with the modern leather loop in deep red. One mockup has the plain crown and the other has a red accent on the crown. I should have started with a lighter leather loop base instead of black because I had to increase the levels and that messed with the contrast in the shadows. But I was already part way finished so whatever. Tell me what you think!

Edit: Added sport version.

Great job on the renderings. I would buy both of those in a second. Fingers crossed.

You don't get an angled profile, just front and side. I've spent longer than I should looking at different combinations and second guessing my own choices.

I mentioned it here because it hasn't yet been mentioned in this thread, which is specifically concerned with looking at non-standard combinations of case + bracelet - and others may not yet have seen the site.

That Space Gray with cherry red looks great. Looks more premium.

I think we have a misunderstanding.

I actually felt you were being hostile and I was just defending my original post. With a smile - and I never smile when I'm hostile. Your reply definitely seemed hostile ("your link has no relevance in this thread anyway").

The site does currently feature a red strap - a number of straps were added after Milan Design Week. They haven't been officially launched, but they've been added to that website anyway.

I appreciate it! I had not seen that site. However, mine does show it at an angle—so there's that! I'm really digging the black stainless steel. Too bad I couldn't order that with a Milanese Loop. Especially since I think the black is more scratch resistant because of some carbon coating or something.
