Apple Watch Qi charging

so now it’s out, does the AW 3 work with Qi? I want to get a little mat for when I’m driving and don’t need the watch.

I'll tell you tomorrow. My car has built-in wireless charging (Qi) and my watch arrives tomorrow.

Series 3 should. None others.

Works with some Qi chargers, but not all. According to the one site that tested it, it seemed to only work with Qi chargers intended for charging multiple devices at once. Apple themselves have only shown it working on next year’s proprietary non-standard charge mat designed for exactly that.
