I have a series 0 Apple Watch and got the exclamation mark during the last update. 3.2.3.
I am out of warranty and just wondering will Apple replace it or fix it.. makes no sense for me to pay to fix it when it was your update that bricked it in the first place..

Have you tried holding both side buttons down until it reboots. Apple recommends that first. Because the software bricked the device, Apple should be able to downgrade it. But I don't know if there is a charge.

From past readings, I believe Apple will restore the Watch without any charge, assuming the OP was clear of any misappropriation with the Watch. Not sure why this randomly happens to some users. It can be partly due to an interruption during the update with the wifi.

Yes. I've tried holding both buttons. Apple logo pops up and then a few seconds later it shows this.

But cool. Just making sure

Take it to Apple and be really sweet about it, you might just get a new watch.

Lol. That didn't happen.. they said they don't any service at all here and that it'll just be quicker to call customer service and ship it out.

That's some craptastic service you got. They usually at least offer to ship it out for service from the store and tell you how much it will be.

The store will ship the Watch out or you can mail it to Apple from your residence, which they handle anything there after. They quote you the price when they mail to the packaging materials or over the phone.

To be fair. I was a walk in and that's what the guy you check in with said.
