Can I ask how long it took to receive the replacement? My watch was faulty and I'm still waiting for the replacement. Its has been 19 days now and Apple have told me there is no stock but they will prioritise the delivery. I could be waiting until July!

I do have Applecare+ but that wasn't used for the replacement.

It took around 5 days. I used AppleCare+ and a service called "Express Replacement".

I guess because I'm not claiming against the Applecare+ then my wait is longer.

It sucks that the difference is so immense between how they handle a faulty watch and a watch that has been accidentally damaged. :(

Well keep in mind, they charged my card $600 for a hold plus the $69 fee for the replacement for Apple Care.

You make a good point there.

I don't mind the wait as such, it just that they can't say they have no stock when they clearly have stock if you're willing to pay for it.

It's worth noting that the packaging is very interesting. As far as I can recall, Apple Care replacement products/parts have never been packaged in something designed like a finished product, retail ready box. It suggests that Apple may eventually sell the Watch face separately. Probably not in this first generation, but I'd bet on the second generation since we'll already own bands.

Not true. The original iPhone had fancy repair packaging. I can't seem to find a picture at the moment...

Edit:

Found it!

i mean mophie did that with me when i asked if they could ship me another case and then i could return my old one when i received the new one.

Mine had a defective popping sound. No damage or anything like that.

I had the same issue. Brought my watch to Apple on Tuesday, watch was sent to the repair depot Wednesday, serviced, diagnosed, and replacement unit issued and shipped Thursday, hoping for a pick up tomorrow.
