Apple watch s4 ss vs apple watch s5 alum

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, I'm Spanish. I have the opportunity to get a new ss s4 watch for € 530 or wait for the new aluminum s5 for € 470. Which do you think would be a better purchase? Thanks to all.

I’d say the aluminium S5 is a better choice. It really depends on how rough you are with the devices. I’ve been rocking the black aluminium S4 until now without a single scratch on it.

Is the S5 you are getting with or without the cellular capabilities?

If without, seems like the S4 might make for a better deal. Else, I will say go with the S5, though it’s just me just preferring to have the latest and greatest.

S5 if you want the always on screen.

If not SS S4 will be sufficient.

The only thing that interests me about s5 is the aod. I had two apple watches both in aluminum. With the second I had a bad experience since the screen was scratched shortly. Mainly I would like to worry about scratching the screen...

Then don’t opt for the aluminum. The Ion-X Glass to me has a cheaper consistency with how it scratches, and if that’s something that bothers you, I would reconsider maybe for the stainless (Possibly a used Stainless S4) or opt for a screen protector for the aluminum sport model.

To me, the always-on screen is one of the top new features since Series 0. I'd go AW 5.
