    Hi

Im looking to possibly make some accessory for the apple watch, but and struggling to find the schematics for the thing.

Does anybody know where I can find these, or who i contact at :apple: to register as an accessory maker to get them?

Just need the outer casing, nothing internal

    Thanks

    Scottio

Apple only releases "schematics" (very limited and specific in details, not sure if schematic is the right word) if you are part of an official accessory program (ie, made for iPhone). Currently there are no official accessory programs for Apple watch. You'll just have to wait until it's released and generate your own.

Just use some photo's and scale and measure off them, with a few known dims to start with you will get to much less than 1mm over the outside I would think

You're probably not in the right business if you have to resort to a public forum to ask this.

Yeah thats what I thought, I looked into the MFi Program but thats for electronic hardware, not what I'm looking to make.

I have kind of worked out the dimensions of the body to be 36.2mm x 42mm with it being 10.6 mm thick without including the sensor on the back

Going to work off that until something more concrete is in place

    Thanks

The official Apple link you should continually check is here: https://developer.apple.com/resources/cases/Case-Design-Guidelines.pdf

    That's incredibly ignorant and offensive.
