Did somebody notice after the last update that the screen brightness of the watch sometimes is way up? I have an AW series 4, it sometime in the night when i check the watch's screen is glowing. It's like the watch isn't adapting screen brightness to the ambient light.

You can adjust the brightness manually from the watch or the phone but they also have auto brightness so it should adjust to the dark and dim the screen. Maybe it just looks bright in a dark room?

There was another thread here in the last month about this... A few of us had been having this happen on our AW4.

In some of our cases what was happening was it appeared the ambient light sensor was not updating - so for exasmple - I'm outside in the bright sun and check the watch and the screen comes on full blast (to combat the bright sun). Then I would go inside, hang out etc - and it's not near as sunny in the room and then check my watch and it is still on the same brightness as if the watch was still in the direct sunlight and is so bright!

But then, if you let the screen turn off - then activate it again it would be set properly to the room you are in now...

No resolution as far as I remember - then I bought a S5 coincidentally and haven't used my S4 since...

UPDATE - I looked through all the thread titles I've participated in the last month and nothing about that issue - I think it was inside a larger thread about something else and some of us started just mentioning it... SO, I cannot find that discussion :(
