What is the Apple Card discount? Do you mean the 3% Apple offers by using the Apple Card for the purchase? Just wondering. I've been trying to justify moving from an S3 to S6 but haven't been able to justify the price!
Amazon has the Series 6 for $15 off, plus you could get another 3% back with the Amazon Card, or 5% if you also have Amazon Prime.

The S3 is a poor choice at the moment - it's just too limited compared to the SE. It's not listed in the article, but it also doesn't support the hand washing countdown.

It's like buying the 4" iPhone SE in 2018 - it will work and receive software updates for a few more years, but the software just isn't designed with it in mind.

You may think you are saving $80 but it will cost you as an upgrade will be needed sooner. (I am an S3 owner and love it, but if I was buying today would go with either a 2nd hand S4/S5 or the SE).
I'm also a Series 3 user and very surprised they kept the watch in the line up.

Sleep Tracker and the Artist watch faces are the only new features it gained in the new watchOS. It didn't even get the Memoji watch faces.

Storage might not seem like a big factor, but trying to upgrade to WatchOS 7 that needs 3.1GB to download and install on an 8GB device is nearly impossible. Granted, a new Series 3 will ship with 7 installed and won't likely be compatible with WatchOS 8 when it comes out, but still something to consider.
Totally agree! It is a headache to upgrade the 3 to os7, so things will probably be worse for the next os. This was the final piece of evidence i needed to confirm that I wanted to upgrade to the SE and sent my 3 to apple yesterday for my trade in. Loving the SE so far with larger screen, faster processor, etc.

Hi! Sorry if this question has already been asked but I am new to the forum and could not find a clear answer on the internet. Can I use the new Apple Watch SE with WatchOS 7 on my iPhone SE (1st gen) with IOS 14?
