Yeah, Apple doesn’t do cheap. They do making it for cheaper for themselves to manufacture while still charging a premium price. Unfortunately, they know marketing can’t overcome a cheaper looking product that still commands a premium price. Consumers aren’t that blind.
Apple didn't raised prices for few years now even though inflation is going up.
they reduced price is MacBook Air by $100.
Apple has been increasing base storage and RAM on most of the devices without price increase.

I'm guessing by "not liking the way that it looks" is referring to how the casing colors differ than the aluminum offerings and material price and material quality are generally closely related. Low aluminum prices typically indicate lower quality, and higher steel prices indicate higher quality. If you can't do it cheaper than what you're already offering, just don't do it. Don't be afraid to drop the ball like you already have been @Apple You've been dropping it so smashingly well in the recent past, make this yet another fail... take the "L".

Most valuable company in the world

What a failure…

Because they’ve found more “efficiencies”

The retail price is irrelevant, it’s the margin that matters, and it certainly continues to increase

Aluminum costs $2.70 per Kg when you buy it by the ton. You can make perhaps 100 watches. So we are talking about three cents of metal in each watch. In any case it is not even close to $1 per watch for the basic material. If there were any saving to be made it would be becauseiInjection molding plastic is a cheaper process then machining metal.

Was not very happy with the idea of a plastic watch. It will be good if Apple decides to have a range of nice colours for the SE model with aluminum body.

Why get children addicted to smartwatches after their smartphone addiction?

Fortunately, smartphone bans & minimum ages for social media are being introduced at schools in more and more countries.

A smartwatch with permanent notifications -> distractions does not help children to concentrate.

Steve Jobs already knew why he didn't allow his children to use Apple devices.

And who wants to do something good for children, because of health:
Teach them to cook & eat healthy food.
And to drink water and unsweetened teas instead of cola & co.
And watch out for added sugar in products.

That will do more than any smartwatch.
I agree with you in all but the phone bans in schools. I think it is throwing the baby out with the bath water and setting the kids up to have issues once they get into a job in the real world. Middle schools not allowing phones makes sense. They’re too young anyways. But for high schools, where kids have part time jobs and drive, the communication aspect is too great. I think we’d be better off to teach them how to ignore the notifications for meaningless things and tactfully handle the important ones, such as a emergency phone call from their parents or a text message about how they need to pick up a sibling from an after school program. Then they can have control over their devices and be able to use it as a tool instead of it taking over their lives. Just my 0.02.

Well, bummer. I broke my Series 4 almost a year ago and rather than pick up a 2nd Gen SE or Series 10 I decided to wait it out for a 3rd Gen SE.

Here’s hoping I don’t need to wait too much longer.

Is that before or after you add 50% tarrif?
They'll just have to make sure it's manufactured somewhere that's not dumb enough to put punitive import taxes on the materials its manufacturing base uses and that the toddler-in-chief doesn't have a grudge against.
