2025 : In Apple watch series 11 we have once again pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the Watch, we have increased the screen size by one extra row of pixels, allowing Apple Watch to take on an entirely new size……. 🙄

Just received the 46mm titanium and upgraded from my AWv6 titanium. Quick and super easy. Although noticeably larger these watches weigh essentially the same, the new watch weighing without a band .2 gm more than the old watch without a band. The old Milanese watch band fits perfectly. The Spectrum cellular upgrade was totally painless which contrast with my last Spectrum upgrade for my wife's AWv8 which was a total pain.

The display is much brighter ... ... and music (ie rock-and-roll) actually sounds pretty darn good. For stereo effect, wear one of these on each wrist. 🙂

Regarding the second hand, I was under the impression that there was a mode in which it would not vanish over, say, 60 seconds of arm inactivity. So far I haven't figured out what that mode is, so that's a bit of a mystery.

All in all however I couldn't be much happier. Apple packaging remains super impressive and the watch came 90%+ charged. Class act!!

Even the 42mm Series is a sizeable difference from my old 42 Series 7. MUCH easier to text on and select things properly now.

The new watch faces aren't working as they should, i.e. the photo watch set, crashes and freezes the watch. Time isn't keeping correct tracking or just crash.
