I know I'm the outlier on this one, but if you want to sell more Apple Watches tap into a new market; stop with the health stuff. It's of no interest. I want them to go in a more utility direction. I still want a flash light built into the side of the housing so I can point my arm like a flashlight. Make me an Iron Man watch and I'll upgrade. But again, I guess I'm the minority on this cause they seem to only be innovating by adding health stuff.
It's hard to innovate and add new features when battery life is crap.

I am currently using S6 and I find it hard to justify the upgrade to the S11.

U3 on the other hand is great for the battery life. But it's approaching twice the price of an S11 :(

I really hope this is a troll post. Apple has shown us over and over again all of the hundreds of letters the receive from people outlining how the Apple Watch literally saved their lives, but you want them to 'stop with the health stuff' so you can have a flashlight on your wrist?? Sorry, the grownups are talking over here. Maybe the Google Pixel watch can help you live out your superhero fantasies...

I can appreciate your point of view. And you’re right, that what they do is incredibly important for some. However as some one with incredibly high anxiety about anything medical, alerts from my watch or phone only cause me duress until I can then get an appointment with a doctor. I understand that the logic doesn’t add up there but hey, that’s anxiety, and it doesn’t make sense.

I’m not advocating that they stop making medical advances, and if I did leave that impression I apologize.

No, that’s fair. Anxiety is no picnic. Sorry if my post came across a bit harsh, but it’s a touchy subject for me. As someone living with medical issues the health capabilities of the Apple Watch are extremely important to my wellbeing. But your condition is equally as valid. It might be worth looking into whether or not those alerts can be disabled.
