Hi Guys.

I have ordered myself the Apple Watch Series 4 44mm so i am selling my old series 2 to my friend.

Now i have had what i believe is a white dead pixel on my screen for a few months now but have never managed to go into the apple store to have it looked at.

It only appears when there is colour on the screen or the area where the dead pixel appears. when the screen is black then it cant be seen.

So before i go into the apple store i wanted to make sure its not a software bug or anything.

I do have a few months of apple care left on the watch so it should be covered if it is faulty.

That is indeed a ‘dead pixel’ or [stuck pixel]. That’s nothing to do with the software, that’s a faulty display.

Thought so.

Will book it in for repair at the Apple store tomorrow then. Any idea if they fix it or swap it on the spot like they do with the iPhones?

Thanks.

Apple Watch replacements are not handled in store, they actually will ship a replacement device to you from a repair depot. You will send your watch into Apple or bring it into the Apple store.
