Bought my AW Series 2 Black Stainless Steel in UK and I have received a 2m long WHITE PLASTIC magnetic charging cable instead of the one with a STEEL frame. Is this normal or?

My space black Series 2 has the stainless casing around the charging puck. Did you purchase yours new directly from an Apple store or was this a refurbished unit?

Apple stores no longer sells the Series 2 in store. They were discontinued from the retail stores and online from their website when they announced Series 3 (Aside from the refurbished units available for sale online). When did you purchase this?

Ah sorry I didn’t mention that it was bought way back when Series 3 wasn’t announced yet.. I just googled a bit these days and actually found out that I shoud be getting the stainless steel puck for charging xD Photo of the box attached.

I have the black stainless and the stainless. I went for the black stainless because, it looks great. It just happens to have a stainless steel body beneath the DLC coating.

Then you don't fully understand the elements behind the black stainless steel Apple Watch. It also incorporates the diamond like carbon coating over it, which has a layer of protection that makes it almost impervious to damage. Not to mention, it looks amazing paired with a stainless steel link band or leather band.
