Hey there guys!

just got my apple watch s3 LTE set up with t-mobile. and its....ugh well Not good. the LTE is ridiculously slow! my iPhone works like a charm, but the watch is problems. when i leave my phone and use full cellular, i get these 2 major problems.

1. Hey siri or Siri works about 25% of the time. Bad LTE I'm guessing? even though I'm in a excellent tmobile coverage area. The LTE on the watch is terrible. 1 bar or none sometimes.

2. SMS flat out does not work. no incoming, no outgoing. they just fail. (not a fan of iMessages)

so, anyone else having these issues? not sure if its carrier or apple.

I have AT&T and my watch almost always has 3 dots or 4 of LTE. SMS/MMS Txts work without issue. Only challenge I experience relating to messaging is when I use Siri to send a text. Sometimes it takes Siri forever to actually "send" the text.

Do you have issues with Siri even when your watch is connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi or just when you are using the watch alone on LTE? Just a reminder that Siri needs a internet connection.

Note: You can't receive SMS/MMS Txts on your watch unless your iPhone is on and connected to your Carrier.

Maybe you have a bad watch, we have had reports of signal issues like what you are reporting and a replacement watch did not have the same issue.

Hi dave. Thanks for your info.

when the phone is near me via bluetooth, i don't have much issue, besides lag in internet. The issues really get magnified hundred fold when the watch is standalone. however i usually have 2 bars, never 4.

my phone would be at home, turned on always. but SMS still does no go through. Never has. But iMessage does send successfully. But i prefer regular texts /sms. So I'm at odds with this.

I am going to contact apple about a replacement. Apple consistently fails in quality control, I notice this.
