Huh? No, I really was not heated at all. No cursing No disrespect. Not a drop of it. Maybe that's how you handle things so you would assume that's normal. I'm only guessing here. Personally I was just stunned. I never expected Apple to be so not-customer friendly. Everything I own is MAC and this was my first problem. I did say it was clearly a defective watch, and that I had seen multiple links online backing me up--including a class action lawsuit. You don't believe me? Why wouldn't you believe me? I don't know you. You don't know me. What a strange thing to say. I don't know why I need to prove anything to some random person. But here you go.

Curious what the outcome was. Did they replace your watch?

I purchased my series 3 watch back in 2017, I believe. Never had any issues with it. Wash dishes and wash hands all the time. Earlier this week, went into a pool for the first time ever with my watch on. It immediately turned off. Called apple, even spoke to a Senior rep and he basically told me I had to mail it out and it would cost me $400 to replace it. Made an appointment for an apple store. The rep told me the same thing, it would cost about $400 to replace. I asked him what are the possibility that they would be able to repair it, he said to be honest, they wont even look at it and will just tell you that you will need to replace it. Any suggestions on next steps? Who I should contact?

Well, it’s mid 2021 already, so just maybe the warranty has expired, even AppleCare+ doesn’t carry terms that long. Get over it and start thinking to the future. Maybe go without a watch for a few months and get the Watch 7 44mm Titanium Edition !
