Apple Watch Series 3 Puck for Series 9?

can I use my Series 3 charging puck for my Series 9? I am aware that the fast charging feature will not be available, but other than that, will it somehow damage my new watch?

It will work fine. I still use my original S0 puck on my Ultra sometimes and although slow it is fine.

I use my old 5 watt charging puck exclusively, since I charge overnight and prefer the slower charge rate to minimize heat and battery degradation.
