Resolved Apple Watch series 4 40mm battery

Does any one else have this situation. I took my watch off to go to bed this morning after a night shift to the wake up and see the battery had drained 12%

2% per hour is normal. Even while your not wearing it the battery willl drain.

I know I have the smaller of the 2 watches so the battery is smaller but I didn’t expect that drain to be honest

10% overnight (depending on settings) is about my normal.

But you will still get roughly 2 days out of it which is more than OK.
