Why? Because it’s now going to nuclear. When the watch launched most said it was a epic fail. “People would never wear it” “ugly” blah blah blah. Now I see tons of them out in the wild here in Southern California... this watch cracks thru the ceiling and the watch now goes mass market.

Classic Steve Jobs product “A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them.”
— Steve Jobs”

I have seen and worn the AppleWatch, still don’t understand all the fuss about it. Sure Series 4 does more like ECG, however its an accessory that is trying to eventually be a main device like the IPhone or iPod started out. If I have an iPhone on me with a larger screen, more functionality, why am I looking at an expensive postage stam sized screen. Convenience at a premium cost. I can either reach into my pocket and look at my text, accept calls, the time, etc or turn my wrist. I am still trying to understand what the AppleWatch actually does well, the UX/UI does not even seem refined compared to the iPhone or iPad and you have to charge it every night.

I used to wear the traditional watch and other smart watches with GPS, trackers, FitBit just has not added anything to my personal activity, maybe I am naturally active and mobile. Relating to health, a balance has to be met. Constant monitoring and alerts of ones medical condition can lead to information overload. If you have a genuine medical condition, old age, etc I can see the point. If you are relatively health use common sense.

If the AppleWatch is working for you, great. However it still does not do anything relatively well compared to having a phone on you. Similarly some people feel an iPad may not replace a desktop OS.

I am sure the product wil get there eventually, however at present I don’t feel this is the case. However thank you to all AppleWatch users for beta testing the product at your personal cost.

I tried the Apple Watch once but it didn't fix my life and bring me happiness.

When i returned it to the Apple store, they said I hadn't spend enough money yet, and that I should buy more stuff to fix it. I asked them how much and they said to keep going until I got there I would know.

It will be great when Apple perfects the Apple watch so we can be perfect humans too.

Did you have a 42mm or 38mm?

42mm had a larger batter since it had a larger case, but otherwise the same internals. I’d assume the same is true for the 44mm, but it also has a more powerful processor and larger active display area.

38mm. but nothing would stand to reason a 42 would last substantially longer than the 38.

don't get me wrong, I love the Apple Watch for what it is, however it is NOT a real solution for endurance activities.

The 42mm definitely has longer battery life than the 38mm. That was Apple’s unadvertised secret, since they didn’t want to draw attention to he relatively short battery life, or diminish the 38mm in any way by comparison. For sure it’s not designed for endurance activities, but I believe the 42mm does indeed last substantially longer than the 38mm. Apple could have put an even bigger battery into the 42mm given the extra space but they didn’t. I’ll be curious to learn if the same is true of the 44mm over the 40mm.

Like the add, loose the beard!!!

I’m sorry, I love Apple but when i see ads like this with tag lines like, “Theres a BETTER you in you!” I have to laugh. It reminds me of the alien invasion film THEY LIVE. Put on your magic sunglasses and suddenly all the ads & signs turn into one word subliminal messages like OBEY! & CONSUME! Lol.

Maybe I’m not the target audience, but I don’t need a watch to tell me to get moving. I just find the whole thing bizarre.
I agree I don’t need one either I know when to move, and have a great $7 dollar watch keeps super time got it at Walmart.
