Does the Apple Watch Series 5 work with the iOS14 Beta? I synced the watched to my phone last night but the watch faces aren’t showing up. I don’t know if it’s the the beta or if my service just isn’t loading them.

iOS 14 beta works with the series 5. I don’t have it loaded on mine. I have it running on the series 3.

If I am not mistaken, there was 1 or 2 posts on the forum speaking about not being able to see the new faces. I don’t recall the outcome. You might take a look through the WatchOS 7 thread in the Apple Watch forum.

Apple Watch Series 5 definitely can be used with an iOS 14 device. I have Apple Watch series 4 and it works great with iOS 14 device. Maybe watchOS 7 could help, but it is only available for developers.

Maybe it’s my signal or something. I wasn’t sure what OS the watch ran on.

Not sure but since I installed public beta 14.0 I’m noticing improved battery life on AW series 5. Before it was about 2-2.5 % battery discharge an hour with AOD off. Now I’m at 1-1.5% battery discharge an hour on 6.2.8.

AOD is a main feature of the series 5. Why keep it turned off? With AOD on, I easily get 15 - 16 hrs usage (without a workout) a day, before charge time.

When your workouts use GPS and are over an hour AOD (along with GPS) sucks the life out of the battery. AOD is nice and I do use it at times, but not when I know I’ll be having a long workout day.
