Has anyone else experience their Apple Watch series 5 freezing/locking up daily since updating to watchOS 9 the other week, the only way ive been able to get the watch to respond is by force restarting by holding the crown and button together until it reboots, this has been a daily occurrence since like day 3/4 after updating and is getting kinda annoying.

I have noticed the same thing on my 5. The watch becomes unresponsive and the time display freezes as well. You can take it off and the watch does not lock. I have rebooted it as you have. But today I found that if I tapped the watch or twisted the stem, the watch seemed to "catch up" all of a sudden.

My 5 did the same after I updated to OS9. I unpaired and restored from the backup; it’s fine now.

What watch face were you all using when your S5 started to freeze? I noticed that my S5 started to freeze the day after I updated to os9, but it only seems to freeze when I use a particular watch face: Unity Lights. I only have half a dozen faces and any other face seems to be fine. I've been using Infograph as my face for the last ten days and haven't had any freezing problems since.
