What is "graphite stainless steel" ?? Did they finally give us a brushed stainless steel body? I would love that as my Ti scratches way too easily.

40mm Blue Aluminium Case with Charcoal Sport Loop - delivery estimate Sep 25 - Sep 29 (said it was only eligible for delivery)

So what, no in-store pickups at all? Will they have all the configurations on launch day in-store? I really want to have it this Friday, the shipping’s like mid-October for me...

Does available Friday mean in-store pickup? I don't see that as an option when I add the watch to the bag.

I ordered the second they opened got the wife a 40mm aluminum silver + sports band (shipping was 9/25 to 9/29) and I got the blue aluminum 44mm with blue braid solo (shipping was 9/25 to 9/29). The trade in offers were way better then last year big time

wondering do I buy one from Apple and supposedly get it in 9/25 or see if they pop up at Best Buy. I don’t live near an Apple store

Did anybody else notice how misleading the Apple marketing materials are? They depict the red crown ring on the blue watch, which is only available in aluminum. Instead, those photoshopped pics make you believe it’s offered in stainless steel as well, which is not the case.

I believe red crown ring comes on LTE models only, regardless of case material.

I think they stopped it because of COVID-19. I think delivery is the only option.

Every Apple Store within a 50 mile radius of me is running as normal, albeit you need a mask and they have different lines depending on what you need. I’ve been using in store pickup for a few months now. Tim also said “In stores this Friday.” Not sure where you’re getting your info from.

You certain about this because I was really hoping for an in-store pickup.
The new Apple Watches, when I got to the order confirmation page, only allowed for delivery. I didn't see an option for in-store pickup. YMMV. I have like 4 Apple Stores near me, so maybe it could be a local COVID-19 policy, as I live in the US where the COVID-19 cases aren't coming down.

I guess you are right and I was wrong and I'm sorry. If you live in a country where the cases are low and Apple Stores are open, then maybe you can choose the option for in-store pickup.

So uh... what's the difference between the Apple Watch SE and the S4?

Other than the ECG sensor not being present, which doesn't work in Australia anyway? 2-3 years, same price and removal of a sensor?

Jason Snell brought up a good point about the power adapter. If this was really about the environment and not Apple nickel and diming customers they should have offered it as a free option at checkout. The environmental story falls flat when the price of the Watch didn’t get cheaper and if you want the adapter they’ll sell it to you for $15.

I know you weren’t talking to me, but I’m in Quebec, Canada, where there is 250 cases/day/8000000 people. Weird they decided not to allow in store pickups...
