Apple Watch Series 6 Shipping/Order Status Thread

In the USA -- ordered mine at 2:45PM EDT. Hermès 44mm SBSS Noir Single Tour. Delivery (hopefully) Sept. 21-23.
Interestingly, I had my order ready about 15 minutes before I actually placed it - at THAT time it quoted delivery on Sept 18. But I aborted that order to check out "Create Your Style". When I saw that delivery would be Sept 25-29 I went back to the "stock" Hermès watch I ended up ordering; but Apple's web site ran at a crawl by that time. So I ended up with Sept 21-23

What time did the keynote get over with? I was at work and unable to watch. I just checked my phone to see if the store app was back up and placed my order at 2:30pm.
My order was placed at 2:08PM EST so I'm assuming it ended right around then. I had the app refreshing when I had a feeling it was getting ready to end.
That’s with the braided band. I ordered the sport band and should receive mine on Sep 25th.

LOL. The trade in values on the watches are atrocious.
I see the blue aluminum is already pushed to mid November.
I've had one of each series since they were originally released, apart from series 5 which just didn't have enough to encourage me to buy, and I've been able to palm off the older versions to family/friends as each of the new ones arrived
. I'm really happy that Apple have offered the trade-in for this last one. It makes the decision so much easier when you know how much on the spot you'll save.
ha. oh well. Here's to another 4/5 years of sporting this new SE I'm getting.

The keynote was a little over an hour. My confirmation email came in at 1:17 CDT, so I placed my order around 1:15pm CDT.

I went with the blue case with blue braided solo trap. I’ll probably pick up a cheap third party brown leather strap for more formal situations.

Order made at 11:13am PDT for my hubby’s first Apple Watch (early birthday gift). We are also in the 9/25-9/29 block. Let the tracking anxiety games begin!

Yeah, it is a bit of a wait, but I don’t mind. Gives me something to look forward too. Maybe iPhone 12 will be ready by then too 😁Nice choice. But cant wait for October..
