They should be pre-loaded with WatchOS7
You will need to update your phone to iOS14 and your current watch (if you have one) with WatchOS7 so you can get a backup to set up the new one. (Unless you want to set up fresh)

Thanks. I wanted to confirm that so I could update my phone today. I have to have everything ready to go as soon as it gets here, hopefully tomorrow.
Shortly after the plane landed in Louisville, I got an email from UPS My Choice that it will deliver the 23rd. But the app/tracking still hasn't updated from Anchorage to show arrival in Louisville, it just takes time.
Yeah, I'm just thinking they wouldn't off load then reload the same plane from Taiwan if it all was going to Louisville.
Also the first Louisville flight arrival didn't signal a scan for any of us so I think we might see one in the next hour or so.
But who knows.

In part because some people artificially strain demand at launch by buying three models when they only intend to keep one.
Still thinking the first flight out wasn't ours. This is the same plane that took us from Taiwan to Anchorage. It's landing in Louisville soon enough. I might be wrong, but I think the arrival/departure scans don't always happen when the plane is wheels up but rather when the cargo is cleared for the departure.

Mine is too. It was tentatively scheduled for 9/24 but moved to Friday after the export scan. A lot of folks yesterday said their dates moved around, so I'm hoping that happens here.

No. Everyone goes through Louisville and then routed to final destination.
Glad I'm not the only one. I figured I wouldn't be. My Choice says mine is coming tomorrow. I'm just outside of Detroit.
