Apple Watch Series 6 Shipping/Order Status Thread

Just about the same thing happened to everyone here, there's a 2:00am Jiaxing, China departure group that's getting watches today/tomorrow, and then a 3:25am Jiaxing, China departure group that's still waiting to see if they made it to ANC and then onto SDF. The scan times in ANC and SDF don't really align with flight times, because 2020

Gotcha. See my original ship date that Apple gave was October 2nd-7th when I ordered last week. But early Tuesday morning of this week, I got an email saying my watch had shipped and had an early delivery date. But so far it's just be stuck in Shanghai since 9:50PM Tuesday evening (Shanghai time). Ups website has told me twice however that it would be delivered by this Friday Sept 25th but both times they ended up getting removed. So I am thinking I probably won't get mine until next week like Monday or Tuesday.

I am still slightly hoping that there is a small chance it could arrive in Virginia by this Saturday but that's pushing it with all the hurdles it has to go through (customs and flights etc). So I am just trying to lower my expectations and plan for Monday or Tuesday (or even Wednesday of next week as a delivery date). It sucks though because co workers and friends who ordered on Best Buy's site instead of apple got theirs this week. Shipping only took two to three days.

So my watch was handed off to some 3rd party broker and UPS is now claiming I have to pay brokerage on it...on the phone with Apple Store support now...

How did you find this out?

I’m still sitting in Anchorage since 11:25pm last night. Nothing since. Still saying it’ll be at my door step today. 😂😂😂 I’m thinking tomorrow or Friday. Unless scanning is seriously screwed up.

I wonder what is happening with the SE watches. My wife’s new watch along with others on here appear to be in a holding pattern in China.

Sitting for over 3 days....

Almost looks like a quality hold or something has been placed on the inventory.

Was supposed to arrive today and says Exception with no delivery date....

Crazy yea ours might have been scanned together then. Yea my watch is heading to Virginia. It would be insane luck if our watches got to us this week. But there is hope. It's early morning Thursday in Shanghai now so sometime through that evening and next few hours or when we are asleep we could see movement!

I have no hopes for this week, my original window was 2-6 October, then it shipped yesterday in the early morning like yours and UPS briefly showed a "28 September" date, now rescheduling. Apple now says October 1st. I guess I have to wait next week, but I hope yours will be faster!

Good that yours cleared customs! I can’t imagine that any sort of a quality issue. I think they’re just overburdened because it looks like all the SEs are going through one location.

Just fyi, for those waiting for UPS deliveries, UPS was 2-3 hours later than their expected delivery time. They didn't knock either, just left it under my mat. (When my watch was delivered Monday). Wife's watch today!

Congrats on the delivery! Still waiting for a few more days on my Red watch. I paid the $5 for delivery tomorrow but that probably won’t happen. The request to reschedule just made all the tracking inforation go away!

Same here would love to have it before the weekend. I originally wanted the new leather band but with the delays I decided to get a Plum colored sports band so no worries with sizing. My actual worry is coming from a 42 mm S3 how much bigger will the 44 mm be and will I like it. Would suck not to like it since I heard the 42 mm S3 bands fit 44 mm watch. I guess I would have to wait and see.

I ordered 15 September, est time of delivery was 24 till 28 September. it was the nike 44mm black.
Since Friday 18 September my order was changed to shipped, ever since the tracking information is: Shipment information received. Waiting (not) patiently...
shipping information is provided by DHL.
from what I'm guessing this means it has not arrived yet at the distribution center in Eindhoven.
I really wish there was a way to track planes like UPS.
Ordered from Amsterdam.

Given this headache with the Apple Watch series 6 shipping from China and such, I am glad I am not upgrading to the iPhone 12 (keeping my 11 Pro Max another year). The iPhone 12 launch is going to be a huge mess if they don't fix some things before hand. People going be waiting a month or two (maybe longer) for their phones SMH.
