My watch is finally at the main UPS hub in KY as of tonight. UPS still doesn’t give me an exact delivery date, however. Apple still quotes Oct. 13-15 but that seems too far out at this point.
This has definitely been the strangest Apple delivery tracking experience I’ve had. Was stuck in Shanghai for 5 days and then suddenly moved to Alaska and now KY in the last two days but regardless don’t have any scheduled delivery date.

Well whaddaya know? I just got a UPS notice that my watch is coming today (Friday)! Woo hoo!!Mine's in AK, too. ETA is Monday according to Apple; Tuesday according to UPS tracking.
I couldn't wait any longer and picked up a silver 44mm with a white sport band at a local Apple Store which was in stock. Also picked up a black sport band, since I don't really like the white one. Estimated shipping for my initial order with a black solo loop was Oct. 29th (ordered on Sept. 23rd) in Germany 😅

I originally ordered my simple 44mm Space Gray Aluminum series 6 with a black sports band from Verizon on Sept 22nd and it showed a back order delivery date of Oct 12th....In any event it just showed up on Sept 30th roughly 2 weeks early. After using it for a day I decided I’d give this one to my wife and order the 44mm SS in Graphite with a black sports for myself. That’s where the deboggle began. I ordered it on Oct 1st and it showed a back order date of Oct 10th to ship, did it and figured it would be here within a week or so just like the other. Not to be!!!
On Oct 6th I received an alert asking if I ordered an apple watch...lol almost a week later. When I said I did I received an alert showing I needed to update my payment for the watch because the card was declined? Called VZW to see what the heck was going on because it was kind of impossible for that card to decline. That’s where the roller coaster began. I went thru 4 different reps to find out what was going on...1st rep said let’s resubmit the payment which was odd to begin with because there was no reason for the decline, so we submitted, than 2 hours later received a call from the fraud team asking if I ordered a watch, said yes and was told it was fine, than received a call saying they needed more info to
Complete the order, that call ended with we just needed to update your shipping info. Than I received a call and an email Saying the order was being held??? After a half hour on the phone with them the final answer was I just don’t know where your order is and we need to cancel the order and begin over again🤦🏻♂️
At this point I was a little angry, VZW had no answers towards what was
Going on and simply said oh well let’s reorder it and we’ll give you $100 off the watch🤷🏻♂️
So we reordered on Oct 6th and this one shows a shipping date of Oct 21st! Patiently waiting to see what could possibly go wrong with this order now😆

If you’re on express shipping, it’s going to stay at ‘preparing to ship’ until the day before it’s delivered, then it’ll move to shipped. I ordered my blue AW and delivery was slated for 9/22-9/24. It was preparing to ship all day 9/21, then moved to shipped on 9/22, got it 9/23.
My girlfriend's Watch also went to prepare to ship on a Thursday two weeks ago. It flew over the weekend to Europe. And she received it on Tuesday. So 5 days. I expect mine will be the same.

Mine went from today to now October 14. Due to a mechanical delay in Alaska!

It is now in Louisville as of this morning. but since UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday and Monday is a holiday I am being told it is Wednesday now.
Of course this is still the window of my original delivery date but I was hoping for sooner!

While Monday is a holiday but not for UPS and Fedex, so they do deliver on Monday. It's only USPS that observes 10/12/2020 as it is listed as a "Federal Holiday" UPS and Fedex don't follow that.
My wait wasn't too bad; I ordered my watch on October 1 and it's "out for delivery" today. It came from China and I'm in Houston TX. Good luck with your deliveries, everyone. Hopefully I'm outta this thread. 😁
aren't you lucky. I ordered Sept 22. It finally shipped, but has been stuck in Shanghai for nearly 2 days.
Are you in the USA? I think the longest wait I had after shipping was Shanghai; then on to Japan and Anchorage AK. It was in Alaska yesterday and out for delivery in TX today, so don't despair!!
Yes, I am south of Fort Worth Texas. and it still hasnt budged from Shanghai, lol.

That's what happened with me TNT express, prepared to ship on the 7th, 12 hours later shipped around midnight, had my watch on the 9th, got to give it to apple their express service is amazing, also my watch was shipped directly from Sydney to Melbourne, instead of china.
If you have express shipping, once your watch ships, it moves very fast from there on in. 👀🚛⌚️

I am seriously bummed that it is still sitting in Shanghai. I had really hoped it would be here by Monday, but it doesnt look like it will make it at this rate.
Call apple again🥺 the series 6 is amazing, so quick, remember when I had my series 3 for 1 week, so slow and the screen size was terrible, loving this blue little pocket rocket.
