Apple Watch Series 6 Shipping/Order Status Thread

Ordered today.
Delivery is announced for 10th of December.
Am in Germany. Expecting that it comes straight from china.
40mm Navy Blue Solo Loop 7 and Aluminum Silver Series 6.
It dos already say shipping is being prepared. Whatever that means. I doubt shipping would take 15 days.

It hasn’t moved at all yet! Still in China! But still says delivery Friday! That’s a lot of air miles to come in 2 days!!! 😬
Mine took 3 weeks to ship! I’m in Ireland! You will be waiting I’m afraid!
We will see what happens. I think if i had ordered yesterday the date would have still been December 3ed but i hesitated a bit. I´ll survive 15 days after waiting over 60 to order though.
Wow I’m surprised... Mine is still in China also, but it’s not supposed to be delivered until next Tuesday so they have more time for mine than yours.
I just bought mine tonight. It says Monday delivery. I do hope so as I have Monday off and can use the day to pair it and set it up
Dam, just checked today. Still in China and now it says check back later for a delivery date!!!!! 😔 Oh well, guess it’s moved to next week then.
I ordered the Apple Watch 6 44mm in blue with the braided loop back in the end if September and it finally shipped yesterday! I am so excited to finally have a watch again!
That stinks! Mine got bumped also from the 1st and is now saying Thursday the 3rd. It went from Jiaxing, China to Shanghai, China for a few hours and is now showing back in Jiaxing... What’s odd is the tracking history doesn’t even mention Shanghai now and it makes it look like it never left Jiaxing.
I feel bad for you. At least I am out of town that whole week anyway, so it doesn’t really make a difference on my end.
I asume Apple is juggling orders from stores, orders from retailers and their own online orders into one while everything heats up due to Christmas being just a month away.
I had a very bad shipping experience with my iMac a few month back, Allegedly my order got canceled because I had ordered old parts (wich I had not), later it got explained to me that something was messed up because the computer was build in china and not in Ireland (I did not even know they were assembling in the eu).
Apple actually is fairy easy when it comes to selling you products. Had this both with the iMac and with my original SE when a delay caused a relatively easy to obtain 10% discount on the product. Just call them and tell them the delay is a problem for you (no explanation needed) and with a cheaper Apple Watch they (to my knowledge) can just shoot that discount from the hip. On the Hermes for 1k they will probably not go full 10%.
Ack- Ordered a 40mm gold stainless steel with the green braided solo loop on October 1st. Cue staring at the status 'Arrives 6 to 8 weeks' for an eternity.
Finally got a dispatch notification on November 20th- seemed to be moving along pretty well on UPS tracker, scheduled delivery date on UPS of 24/11, which came and went... Even though the status on UPS has been 'cleared customs' for several days now, UPS customer service told me on the phone that it's still in China!
I got on the chat to Apple (their estimated date is the 30th) and they said they think there's actually been a problem at customs and they'll look into it.
An hour later, with no warning I get another order confirmation email like the one I got in October (same order no.), except if I follow the tracking link to Apple, there's now two watches- one still scheduled for delivery on 30/11 and another marked 'replacement' in tiny font, saying...'Arrives 6 to 8 weeks'...

If you're in the UK and you ordered direct from Apple you may want to get in touch with them, I doubt mine is the only watch that's gone awry. Mind you I do have that sort of luck...

Mine already shipped tonight and the estimated delivery date moved from 10th December to 9th.
That’s weird, guess they are ramping up for Christmas and it’s going a bit faster..
that’s exactly what has happened to mine (I check it 10 times a day!!! 😄) it was in Shanghai for like 6 hours then it disappeared and was in Jiaxing and said check back later. How can that even happen?! Seems like they are made in a new factory never got an apple product from Jiaxing before and I’ve had 3 apple watches and iPhones. I hope they are not screwing up all the deliveries!! Mine was pushed back to Monday the 30th last night, god I got so angry! And I check this morning.... Says still in China and check back later for estimated delivery date!!!! Looks like it’s getting pushed back again! Oh well... First world problems I guess! Lol
Update: just checked again and it’s now in ZhengZhou, China. Still no delivery date though.
Well, when i ordered it stated 9th or 10th of december so this is still in apples estimate. Maybe germany has different priorities for whatever reason. Might also have gotten some help from the inside since my last order got messed pretty bad and i am certain apple dos not want me to wait and extra two to three weeks like with my iMac. But as i said. 9th is literally what the apple store stated when i pressed buy - so not that weird. If i would order right now (same model, same band) it would arrive 11th - 14th of December according to the Apple store. So it seems to be the normal time they give for Germany right now.
Just as with my iMac however i don't have as specific tracking as you guys do. All i see is DHL express in the netherlands and as soon as they get it it should arrive at my place in a day. So i can't give you information on how much its being driven in circles in China right now IF it even has already been build.
I‘m probably checking 5 times a day 😉. Whatever they’re doing with our watches, ours seem to be going through it together. My delivery day disappeared also and now says ‘check back’ also... It is a first world problem and over the years I’ve found waiting is part of the fun, but we have been waiting for a long time for this one.
Not having the details of the progress makes it less fun to track. I have only had a couple of items arrive DHL over the years. It’s almost always been UPS or FedEx.
DHL is VERY present in Germany. When you go to a postoffice in Germany to send something bigger than a tiny package that the post man would deliver it automatically ends up with DHL.
Express is a bit excluded from that, but I think the deal here is that Apple ships to the Netherlands in bulk and only starts splitting up personalized orders over there.
Mine shipped late tonight via Fed Ex and I will have it on Monday(which is good since I have Monday off from work)
Actually I’ve found that all Apple shipments for Europe generally end up in Germany, Frankfurt or something, there is a hub there and from then they get shipped to each country so it’s obvious people in Germany would receive them faster. I lived there for 3 years. Always got apple products much faster - and when getting them in Ireland they ALWAYS go through Germany first.
It’s horrible with the uncertainty. If I just knew what day I’d be like, ok fine and look forward to it, but every time that day comes it changes!! It says delivering Monday 30th now. It’s currently in Republic of Korea.. I wonder are our shipments in together 😄

I’d bet our watches were in purgatory together for a spell based on what we both saw 😀 Looks like yours escaped that purgatory and mine is still stuck. Mine is still sitting in China and UPS still says to check back later for scheduled delivery...
I would think yours will head west and mine east now that they appear to have parted ways. Most Apple products come to the U.S. through Alaska from my past experience.
At least you have a delivery date again! I’ll continue checking 5 times a day 😜
I am super used to getting everything Apple from the Netherlands. Even if it's replacement parts (apple care cases)
I don't doubt that a lot of stuff goes through Frankfurt, it's one of the biggest airports in Europe. Pretty amazing that there is a detour through Korea with your order. One would thing Apple produces enough stuff to just bulk planes to the EU and split it up here. But I suppose with it being given straight to UPS they will just do what makes most sense in their network of millions of other parcels a day.
Just check the tracking all weekend it’s been in Korea. Just changed 30 mins ago to : Koeln, Germany!! That’s a very good sign! Come on Germany get it over here!! Still says delivery tomorrow, I don’t see that happening somehow unless they fly it in tonight! But hopeful! 🙂
