I doubt the retail stores will have any launch day stock, especially this year ... if they do it’ll probably be the lower-end models without cellular and probably not in the new colors.
I disagree, but it is 2020 so anything is possible.
Lots of shipping notices here in OZ. My understanding is that all 40mm are local and 44mms are coming from China. US should be getting 40mm shipping notifications next few hours.

I would be willing to bet that one tracking number is for your watch and the other tracking number is for the extra bands that you ordered.
I’ve been going back and forth but decided to go for it. Excited as it’s a unique color.
That’s the odd thing...apple still says preparing for shipment yet my UPS app shows the package in China. Hopefully we will see movement today but in previous years my apple products are sent from China to Memphis, TN on Thursday then they ship to me on Friday. I’m assuming that since it’s still in China, I may not be receiving it until next week.
Mine is being shipped from Milan, and since I ordered a "standard/boring" combo, I guess they had these options in stock for launch day.

My local stores will have walk-in stock available tomorrow ....... what makes you think it will be low end models ?
40MM Product Red GPS+Cellular with Red sport loop. Ordered within a couple of minutes after presentation. Delivery date still says 28th. I was charged overnight on Tuesday. I’m in the UK. Really hoping for a delivery tomorrow.
Didn’t get any notifications from Apple, but according to the UPS app, my 44 silver SS with white solo loop will arrive next Monday. Was scheduled for 9/25 - 9/29. Nice!

. I still hope for sooner delivery too.But every order that I made on Appstore shows later delivery and goods always arrives sooner. We will see.
Verizon updated their policy on device dollars - you can use device dollars towards the purchase of a connected watch when I logged on to pay my bill a few minutes ago
